It is with some sadness I let you know that JIC Nation has officially closed.  However, all representatives and customer accounts have been moved over to a brand new opportunity with Jewelscent and Gemstra!  Jewelscent will become Gemstra in the future!

What is Gemstra?  Gemstra is a shopping destination!  It allows customers to purchase more than one brand, in one location.  Customers can shop customized boutiques by passionate independent consultants.  Customers can purchase products from product lines they never had open to them because consultants do not have to choose just Jewelscent, or just Pulse Cosmetics.  Consultants can choose MULTIPLE brands and sell them in one place streamlining our customers shopping experience.

Are Candle Trimmers Really Necessary?   The first burn of a candle is the key to providing the proper even burn for prolonging the life of the candle. The burn should be long enough to create a melt pool that covers the top of the candle to the edge of the glass. The amount of time this takes depends on the size of the candle, but it is usually about 1-3 hours. The wick should always be trimmed to about 1/4 inch with a candle trimmer before each use to prevent the candle from smoking. If the candle should begin to smoke during use, snuff out the candle, trim the wick and light again. Always keep candles out of drafts and on level surfaces, because this will prevent uneven burning and smoking.
